About Heather
Heather is a Licensed Professional Counselor who taught as a public-school teacher for 5 years and then taught English as a Second Language for 7 years at a local community college. She obtained her Masters of Science in Counseling and Development,  her School Counseling Certification, and then became a Licensed Professional Counselor. 

Her career experience also includes working for the Children's Advocacy Center for Denton County, Excel Inpatient Facility, Hope's Door Women's Domestic Abuse Organization, and Terrell Counseling (Private Practice). 

Heather has extensive experience with therapy consisting of working with children, teens, adults and couples. She offers a very solution focused approach to help solve challenges in a supportive, cohesive therapy environment.   She is passionate about seeing lives transformed and growth within her clients.
